About CFY-New York City
CFY-New York City has been providing services to NYC families for more than a decade and has served over 25,000 families to date. During the 2010-2011 academic year, CFY-New York City underwent a significant expansion and now serves over 8,000 families a year. A key driver of this growth is CFY’s receipt of one of the largest U.S. Department of Commerce grants for the “Sustainable Broadband Adoption” portion of the Broadband Technology Opportunities Program (BTOP). CFY-New York City partners with low-income schools, both traditional and charter, to help students, families, and teachers harness the power of digital learning to improve educational outcomes.
