About CFY-Philadelphia
CFY successfully launched its Take IT Home program in Philadelphia in the spring of 2006, and has since served nearly 2,500 low-income families in partnership with public middle schools throughout the city of Philadelphia.
CFY-Philadelphia partners with low-income schools, both traditional and charter, to improve the home learning environments of their students.

Each spring, CFY selects new Take IT Home schools to be served the following academic year. If you would like to request an application for the next school year, please send your school name and the principal’s email address to CFY-PHL@cfy.org. We will contact you regarding your application as soon as possible.
Volunteer in Philadelphia
You can help improve the home learning environments of low-income children by volunteering with CFY-Philadelphia. If you live in or around Philadelphia, you can volunteer to help train families at CFY Family Learning Workshops.
To volunteer please contact us at volunteer-PHL@cfy.org. We will then ask you for additional information, such as the dates you are interested in volunteering. To volunteer you must be 18 years of age or older.
